You can still see the body of water that has been artificially reclaimed now where the SM Mall of Asia stands! Look! No traffic whatsoever!

I really wish the people who have the power to change things, paid more attention to preservation than some profitable expansion. Manila was a very beautiful city in the early 60's, even till the 70's.
Ngayon masyado nang MASIKIP! Seems like hyper-consumer culture has caught on, and malls are sprouting everywhere like chicken pox!
