The People In Your Neighborhood Sesame Street Video

Nostalgia Manila is proud to present: The Sesame Street Lunchbox! Featuring video clips of all your favorite scenes from the original Sesame Street series.

Sesame Street played a big role in educating the younger generation during the '70s. Many agree that the original series was far more imaginative and educational compared to the one you see today. This is for everyone who grew up with the original Sesame Street. Enjoy!

"The People In Your Neighborhood."
"Oh who are the people in your neighborhood?... The people that you meet each day!"

Alam na alam mo ang kantang ito. "Oh who are the people in your neighborhood? In your neighborhood..." usually kinakanta ng mga cast members ng Sesame Street. The song features various professions played and acted out by various muppets and characters.

i don't know about Jim Henson being the "brain" for sesame street, but he is, in fact, the creator of the show The Muppets where the puppets used are also used for the Sesame Street characters. I think the company which produced Sesame Street just collaborated with Jim Henson because The Muppets are all puppet characters and Sesame Street is composed of puppets that inter-act with real people. Maybe i'm wrong with this notion, better check the credits of old Sesame Street videos then... :) in any case... Sesa Street ROCKS!! it was the coolest children show... of course even if Big Bird is "BIG" .. he's kinda cute too. lol. (=

but hey, 10 years ( more or less) after Sesame Street ... we got our own... BATIBOT!!!!

Hello Nostalgia Manila. Hopping from the Idiot Board. I got curious with your icon. I have a CD of that. With only 4 tracks (two of which are commentaries), mahal sya at 800 pesos. Pero binili ko... for nostalgia's sake! :-)

Yung anime girl sa right panel mo... si Candy Candy yun di ba! Wow ... and I came from Baguio. Your old postcards are really something.

I'll be sure to come back. Thanks for featuring memorabilia from my wonderful childhood days!

Unfortunately I don't have 70s-80s Sesame Street items. Pero meron akong Voltes V die cast metal from the 70s :-)

I love Sesame Street. Nung bata ako, gusto kong tumira doon. Truly. No joke. I love everyone there, even Oscar, and most of all, Kermit and Mr. Snafalafagus (tama ba spelling?). I really think Jim Henson was a genius. I cried when he died. Para kasing namatay na si Kermit.
Gusto ko din yung ELECTRIC COMPANY. Yung medyo matandang Sesame Street. Kasama dun si Morgan Freeman!
Btw, I love your site. May review nga ako sa multiply site ko about it. Thanks.
