The rain often brings back memories of school

It's a rainy day here in the big apple. Really yucky weather outside. I don't mind the cold so much since you can always bundle up and layer your clothing, but there's nothing more miserable than being WET AND COLD! Rainy days like this remind me of my early grade school years. Do you remember what the first day of school was like? For me, it always rained back then. Probably because in the Philippines, school starts in June during the rainy season. I remember really hating waking up so early, getting in my school uniform, and waiting for the school bus, and I'd have to walk in class with muddy shoes and wet socks! Oh how I hated that. What do these kind of days remind you of?
