The Challenge Of The Super Friends(1978)
Challenge of the Super Friends is the ultimate animated all-star contest of good versus evil. The original Super Friends (running from 1973 to 1977--Wonder Twins and Gleek) was made up of the greatest DC Comics superheroes fighting together to uphold justice for all mankind. Overall, it was a pretty good show, but getting stale very fast. In 1978, the superhero animation bar was raised high when the first (and only) season of Challenge of the Super Friends hit the Saturday morning circuit. Immediately these 16 episodes made up the best that Super Friends had to offer for one reason alone: the creation of the Legion of Doom, banding together the 13 most sinister villains of all-time from remote galaxies. Led by the sinister genius of Lex Luthor, the Legion of Doom was dedicated to take over the universe, and only the Super Friends, led by Superman, Wonder Woman and the Dynamic Duo, dared to challenge this intergalactic threat and bring them to justice.
This amazing Saturday Morning cartoon is available as an amazing DVD set at Nostalgia Manila's Retro Mart!
watched that when i was younger ... :))) am one of their fans. until now i still watch them, together with my husband and son (hahaha) ...though now they are called Justice League of America. :)
I actually bought the dvd set from here, just click on the link sa page nitong feature. It's great kasi it's a service by Amazon kaya secure at mabilis ang delivery at magaling ang kanilang return policy so you have nothing to worry about.
There are used ones available too, you can check the prices. Galing talaga nitong Nostalgia Manila.
Whenever we watch this then, I always imagine myself as Robin or Aquaman because my brothers would be Batman and Superman and my sister would be Wonder Woman. It was one of my best TV experiences I always cherish.

Hi. Would you know where I could get an mp3 of GMA's "Where You Belong" theme in the late 70's? The station ID that came with the giant robot shows?
Oh yeah! The Superfriends!
