Relieve stress by playing your old Nintendo Family Computer!


Oh man! A good friend of mine just rang me up. He skipped work today! The poor guy sounds like he's losing his sanity from so much stress. So we decided to have a bit of fun for a few hours. And what's the best stress relief? Family Computer!!!! He's bringing his original Nintendo Family Computer over to my place, and we're going to lock ourselves up and play till the cows come home. He's probably going to show me how to finish and beat Super Mario, which would be quite fun to watch. I'm looking forward to playing Excite Bike and Contra!

Good thing his is still working :p Mario was my favorite game but I never got to go past stage 8 so never got to save the princess :(

I posted something about the family computer too. Kids my age then can probably relate.

Hey Lady in Red!

Yeah my friend just left an hour ago, and he showed me that he could still finish Super Mario! It was really cool to see all those stages again. I don't think I've seen someone finish the game in 15 years!

We finished Contra as well with infinite lives: up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, select, start! Still works!

Simple pleasures. ;)
