Shawn's Comments: These stickers, which were inserted into the Antioch Press story book for the first Ghostbusters film in 1984, were some of the first stickers I remember buying with my own money when I was about 7 years old. Well, at least these are a variation of what I remember buying. I believe that there were two different sets of these Ghostbusters stickers; the set I had featured speech bubbles with phrases like, "Back off man, I'm a scientist!" When I began scouring auction sites and antique stores to re-build my collection, these were the only ones I could initially find.
The layout designers did a pretty good job picking images, though I could have done without the repeated stickers in lieu of some additional images, namely some Ernie Hudson, Rick Moranis, Gozer, an Ecto-1, and some demon dogs stickers.

This Popeye guy must have been popular with the average Pinoy kids. Pinoy kids are typically small in build and very thin. Since their diet contains mostly starchy rice and vegetables rather than bigger meat portions, it would have been surprising for them to develop muscular physiques, unless they actually trained in athletics. After all, it is protein often lacking in their diets that build strong muscles, and not the vitamins and minerals (which is still important for a healthy diet) that they get from green, leafy vegetables such as spinach.
