That's tough. I'll call it a truce. Both actors are great actors. Tito Eddie has the edge only because he lived longer. Therefore, he has bigger body of works.
ReplyDeleteDindo was outstanding in Si Malakas, Si Maganda Si Mahinhin, Mahinhin vs Mahinhin, Ikaw at Ang Gabi, Gaano kadalas ang Minsan, Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon, Magdusa Ka, etc.
Tito Eddie was great in Tubog sa Ginto, Isang Ama, Dalawang Ina, Miguelito: Ang Batang Rebelde, Palabra de Honor, Death row, Blue Moon,The Debut, and his several Manoy comedy series.
I think Tito Eddie's undisputed edge is that he is also a very good film director. His classics include career defining films for its lead actresses: ATSAY (Nora Aunor), IMORTAL (Vilma Santos), and MAGDUSA KA (Dina Bonnevie).
Dindo Fernando! He's one of the greatest actor of the 70s.
ReplyDeleteI wojld have to go with Manong Eddie G. He's been in the business more than 50 years now and he's still going strong! Most of us can only wish to be like him when we get to be his age.
