The Electric Company was an educational children's television series produced by the Children's Television Workshop, and broadcast 780 episodes over the course of six seasons, from 1971 to 1977.
The original cast included Morgan Freeman, Rita Moreno, Bill Cosby, Judy Graubart, Lee Chamberlin, and Skip Hinnant. Ken Roberts, who was best known as a soap-opera announcer, was the narrator of some of the segments during the first season. Isa ito sa mga hindi mo makalimutan na animated sketches ng Electric Company. Ginagaya ninyo ng mga classmate mo ang nakakatawang dialogue na: "Whooooo is it?" "It's the plumber! I've come to fix the sink!" Kawawang tubero, at mukhang namatay siya sa bwiset. Napakasimple ng sketch, pero talagang nakakatawa. Panuurin natin!
Oh, I love the Electric Company! My favorite was that song - T I O N..tion, tion, tion, tion!! I can still remember Morgan Freeman in that show. Love it! Thanks for the posting, I know now where that Plumber dialogue came from. We use it all the time for fun but I forgot where we got it!
