Nostalgia List #42

248. 1973 pinalabas ang pelikulang Exorcist sa Bacolod City, kung saan may mga naka paradang mga ambulansya sa labas ng theater para dalhin ang mga sobrang na-shock na mga audience members sa hospital.

249. Noong 1974 inumpisahan mong mangulekta ng Miss Universe Trading Cards na nakukuha sa mga pabunot sa mga sari-sari store.

250. Kung ikaw ay Marcos Baby, alam mo ang New Society propaganda at memorize mo ang jingle na laging pinatutugtog kahit saan ka pumunta: "May bagong silang, may bago nang buhay. Bagong diwa, bagong bansa, sa bagong lipunan. Nagbabago ang lahat tungo sa pag unlad. At ating itanghal Bagong Lipunan!" Kinakanta rin ito sa iyong eskwela tuwing flag ceremony pagkatapos ng "Panatang Makabayan".


251. Pumunta si Nora Aunor sa US para mag-shooting ng pelikulang "Lollipops & Roses". Kasama niya dito ang isang batang Don Johnson ng Miami Vice. Nagkaroon ito ng sequel, ang "Lollipops & Roses at Burong Talangka".

252. "MARGIE WINS!" and headline ng Daily Express matapos maging pangalawang Miss Universe ng Pilipinas si Margarita Moran noong July of 1973.

O-M-G!"...At ating itanghal bagong lipunan!"tatata-tan! Sino kaya ang sumulat ng jingle na ito? Ganitong ka-optimistic ng mga Pinoy rin ng panahon na yun! Mabango pa kasi ang Pilipinas nung mga unang araw na naluklok si Makoy sa trono sa Malacanang.
Meron pa ngang propaganda este commercial pala kung saan hinihingi sa taong bayan na tipirin ang bigas. Kung pwede eh gamitin ang mga tira, ire-cycle. Atsaka yung scene kung saan tinutulungan ng pulis yung mga pedestrians na tumawid. Pati yung bata sinasaluduhan yung pulis.

O diba, hindi pa buwaya at tongtong gutierez ang mga pulis nuon?
